Grace's Speech - Don't Bully!

Have you ever been bullied before? Well today I’m going to talk to you about bullying. Bullying is one of the worst thing anyone should face and that’s why I’m going to convince you not to bully and judge other people.

Bullying is when someone intimidates, judge, force, fight others and puts people down.  The reason why you shouldn’t bully is because it is bad and no one should be judged by the way they look. There’s also an idiom and it says: Don’t judge a book by its cover which means no one should be judged by the way they look. So it doesn’t matter what country you come from or what skin colour you are everyone should be treated the same way.

Another reason why you should not bully is because people who you bully might bully you back or they might bully others which is a very bad thing to do. We have to be nice and kind and share the kindness so that everyone will be happy.

I saw this paper hanging on the wall in home base 2 and I thought that I should put it in my speech so this is what the piece of paper had written on it:
10 steps to happiness
1.hate less, love more
2.worry less, dance more
3.take less, give more
4.consume less create more
5.frown less smile more
6.talk less listen more
7.fear less try more
8.judge less accept more
9.watch less do more and last but definitely not least
10.complain less appreciate more.

And the last reason why you shouldn’t bully is because when the bully hurt someone’s feelings they can commit suicide. Please don’t bully other people because they may feel very sad and try to commit suicide.
We can’t control what we look like because we were born like that just like in this book named Wonder where there is a boy named August and he has a deformed face and he can’t control what he looks like.

So don’t bully and be nice and kind. If you get bullied don’t let the bully get to you and don’t be scared to just tell a teacher or an adult that you trust. So that’s all I have to say about bullying.
